Ah, Sunday. It’s a day of rest for many, and for others it’s a day of work. It might be the beginning of your week, or the end of it. Whatever Sunday means to you, you can set the tone with the help of some encouraging Sunday affirmations.

In today’s guide, I want to share with you how you can create an amazing Sunday experience — including some of my favorite Sunday affirmations to help you end (or start) next week on a positive note.

How to have an amazing Sunday

For me, reading Sunday morning affirmations or Sunday night affirmations is just one part of what I do to create a restful, positive Sunday. Here are some steps you can take to create a positive environment for the start (or end) of your week — including those all-important Sunday affirmations.

1. Create a Sunday reset routine

If you feel lost on Sundays, creating and sticking to a Sunday routine is a wonderful way to make your day better. Sunday reset routines are all about clearing our minds, tidying our homes, and getting prepared ready for the new week. 2. Prepare for the week ahead

If your week starts on Monday morning, Sundays are the perfect time to get everything ready for a successful week ahead. Organize your closet, prepare a meal plan, shop for groceries, and make sure your laundry routine is all up to date. Use some of your Sunday to get organized for the upcoming week, so you’re free to enjoy other things for the rest of the day.

3. Try something new

Sundays are a great day for getting organized and personal growth, but they’re also ideal for learning or trying something new and having a fresh start. Pick up one of my favorite unusual self care ideas, try a new relaxing hobby, or revisit a childhood favorite. Maybe trying these Sunday affirmations is your “something new”. Give yourself the space and time to get excited about something novel.

4. Try a self care Sunday

When you need a little more self care than usual, dedicate your entire day to a self care Sunday. This is an opportunity to really invest in your physical, mental, and overall wellbeing — without distractions or obligations. Eat well, drink enough water, take a self care bath, go for a walk — whatever makes you feel good. Take inspiration from your self care menu to plan a day that’s all about indulging in what you need.

5. Practice positive self talk

Lastly, but definitely not least, Sundays are an ideal opportunity to practice positive self talk and create a positive mindset. That’s where these Sunday affirmations come in.
