Manifestation is an effective way to turn your dreams into reality. You can bring those wishes and goals to life with the power of manifestation. When you trust that what you want will come true, it has a greater chance of happening. Believe in yourself and make manifesting work for you.
In this guide, I’ll share some details on what manifestation is and how to use it. I’ll also share how to write your own manifestation list, so you can begin trying to make your dream life a reality through positive thinking and hard work.
What is manifestation?
Manifestation practice is similar to the law of attraction in that both involve using the power of your subconscious mind to create the life you want. Manifestation involves taking specific steps, such as visualizing what you want and speaking positive affirmations, to bring your desires into reality.
The law of attraction is based on the belief that our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs have a powerful influence over our reality. According to this law, if we focus on positive experiences, we are more likely to attract positive outcomes. Similarly, if we focus on negative energy and limiting beliefs, we are more likely to attract negative consequences. Therefore, it is important to be mindful of what you think and how you feel in order to create the life you want.
Since they are similar in nature, I suggest using both manifestation techniques and the law of attraction as one tool to help you achieve a positive mindset and achieve your deepest desires.
How to use a manifestation process to change your life for the better
To use manifestation effectively, start by getting clear on what you want and feeling it as if it has already occurred. Visualize yourself living your ideal life. Then, take actionable steps each day to bring yourself closer to the reality you want. Make sure to focus on what you do want instead of what you don’t want, and focus on positive experiences and emotions in order to create positive energy around your manifestation goals.
Just like affirmations, a self care vision board, or writing a gratitude list, writing in a manifestation journal can help you achieve a positive and open mind, which will help you attain goals that you may not even entirely believe to be possible.
What is a manifestation list?
A manifestation list is a list of things that you want to happen in your life. You can use manifestation to make these things come true. Your manifestation list helps you reach your goals and make your life better if you focus on it and use it to help you stay productive.
When making a manifestation list, think about the things you want in life and put them on the list. These could be your biggest goals, or smaller ones that you want to focus on this year. This could be finding your soulmate, buying a new house, saving up for a new car, or getting a promotion to your dream job.
How to create your own manifestation list
Creating your own manifestation list is as easy as making a list of everything that you would like to achieve in life and setting positive intentions for each item on the list.
If you’re looking to do well in school, manifestation can help make it happen. Visualize yourself understanding the material and excelling in your classes, and make sure to create affirmations like “I have the knowledge and skills necessary for success” or “I put maximum effort into my studies” to help manifest this desire.
If want to be healthier, you can visualize yourself working out diligently, eating good foods, and choosing the stairs instead of the elevator at work. You could add in affirmations such as “I choose a healthier self” and “I take care of my body to feel better in it”.
How to make an effective manifestation list in a few simple steps
While a simple piece of paper could do the trick, most of us enjoy visually appealing layouts and organized thoughts. To make a good manifestation list, I suggest coming up with a specific amount of detail that you want to have for each goal. Take a look at this manifestation list example:
- Goal name:
- Reason:
- What I visualize:
- Affirmations:
- Concrete actions:
You could also add things like a deadline, if you want to reach a goal within a specific amount of time, as well as a section where you describe how reaching this goal would impact your life.
Now, as you can see, this manifestation method includes a few things I hadn’t mentioned yet. First and foremost, having a reason behind your goal is one of the best things you can give yourself. It adds to the need you have to make it a reality. It helps you when you’re discouraged, and it keeps your motivation levels higher, because you don’t just have a goal, you have a purpose behind it.
Writing down a short description of your visualization and your daily affirmations that are tied to the goal will help your brain assimilate this information. Moreover, on days where things feel more difficult, you will have a reminder of what you need to visualize and what you need to say, all neatly packed next to your goal!
Creating a new manifestation list is only the beginning of your journey
Setting your goals and affirmations are the foundation you need to build before you can go forward, but there’s more to do. Take steps such as researching how others have achieved similar goals or getting advice from those who are knowledgeable about the topic at hand so that your manifestation list can slowly become a reality. Learn about the skills you may want to develop for your goals to be more easily achievable, and make sure to do something about that goal as often as possible.
My advice? Keep a calendar handy. Whether it be physical or digital, use it solely for the purpose of marking the days on which you did something that brings you closer to your goal. Don’t quantify the action, though. Just because the action you took seems small to you, doesn’t mean it should look smaller on the calendar. Later on, what you can quantify, will be the number of days on which you took action thanks to your manifestation mindset!
